A brassy noise filled the dark space; twas mournful sound that could bring tears to anyone's eyes. The solo became a duet as a violin added into the mix. The harmony and melody weaved in and around each other, flowing smoothly. Then came another trumpet. Getting higher and higher, it's tune peaceful, yet melancholy. As the trio played on, drums beat in, turning the piece into a quartet. Slow and mournful, the piece was beautiful. Telling a story of love and life, death and demons, ressurection and eternal peace.
The primary trumpet became the secondary, flowing into harmony as the secondary trumpet, who had entered and rose to the melody, swiftly brought the piece to a powerful crescendo. The story rode on over hills of accents and other musical attributes that made the piece sound like none other.
This was the story of Serayna's life. Her story finally told in full. This was the first and last time it could ever be played, for this was the last time all five would play together.
The harmonic trumpet fell away, unknowing as to why he was leaving. The melodic trumpet grew louder and louder, almost overbearing. But as the tune weaved on, the other instruments adjusted. The violin played the harmony as the drums and trumpet battled it out for the melody. Slowing to a peaceful agreement they played a harmonic and melodic melody, soaring in and out of each other, the violin and trumpet kept a steady tune, the drums keeping the tempo perfect. But as the night grew to morning, the vioin faded to a whisper, it's player filled with uncertainty as to why he was there. Unsure if he could keep up with the drums and trumpet, he allowed the trumpet a solo. The drummer grew louder, hoping to make it clear he was the best and the right one for the piece, but the trumpet fought back. The story, broken and rejected, was left behind as the musicians battled it out for a reason to be there.
Anne... Give me a reason to stay here and I will... Give me a reason to continue on with the deceased, and I will stay forever gone.
Panthris... Xavier... Hairo... I'm unworthy of you, but just say the word and I shall be healed...
How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me...
You raise me up, you raise me high...
Bear you on the breath of dawn, make you to shine like the sun...
And he will hold you in the palm of his hand...
My wings! My life! Set me free!
