Serayna stared at Anne's grave marker. That's all she'd been doing. For eight days straight. Staring... just staring. Nothing else. She felt dead on her feet, and her eyelids were getting heavy.
Anne. You're gone. What am i supposed to do when I'm bored? Come here and ask for advice? Just let everything out? I don't know. Even graves have ears. Serayna thought looking past the stone to see her best friend, lying cold, dead and still on her eternal wooden bed.
Someone walked up behind her. Two people actually. They were unfamiliar feet, unfamiliar walks.
"Serayna Joel Evi?" One asked. He was tall, and had dark hair. Serayna knew from the way his voice sounded, the way he walked and the way he held himself while standing. She turned around to see a man, tall and dark.
"Aye," was all she said, and all she needed to.
"We need to ask a few questions about Anne here. How did she die?" The other asked, he was tall too, but his hair was light brown. His eyes were kind and caring, but he dared not look at the grave. He feared it, no... he felt sorrow. He knew Anne.
Serayna nodded, and sat down. The men looked cautious at sitting down, because it was a grave. But finally they got over it and just sat down.
"Anne died saving herself. A man convicted me of murder, Anne told him she did it, then he transformed into someone else, and ran off a cliff. I followed him, hoping to interrogate him. But it didn't work all that well. I fell over the edge, but i cast a spell. Saving the two of us. But Anne thought i was dead, and decided that she would make sure no other girls were hurt the way she was." Serayna explained, her eyes somewhere else completely.
"A load of bull crap in my opinion. Men are rats. Ruthless and stupid. They'll do anything to hurt a girl." Serayna hissed. She'd had her share of hideous men.
"I assume that she went and killed another man?" The tall and dark one said. Serayna laughed bitterly and shook her head.
"No, he's still alive. But the world in which he lives in, is destroyed for eternity." Serayna said bitterly.
Anne, I know you can hear me. The day that you can return approaches. The day where love is abundant, and hate is too. But maybe this year, love will over come the hate that is overabundant in these days. Hurry and prepare yourself. That day is coming.

Somewhere, deep within the confines of Anne's dead mind, something clicked, somehow, something just happened. All of Anne's memories poured from within her, into the open morning air, revealing themselves to everyone in the graveyard with Serayna that day. The three watched, captivated and enthralled in the melancholy tale for hours; Serayna sat and captured Anne's memories in her fairy bag, for the day she would return.
So they finally decided to come back, eh? She reached out to Anne's mind once again. Serayna? Is that you? Oh, please, help me! Save me Serayna! This is not a good place! We are all in grave danger if I cannot escape by the new moon! Anne's mind begged, almost screamed, at Serayna in response. It almost sounded like the voice had been weeping for days on end, which it had. Anne's spirit, when she died, had been left within her mind to wander around and pull up any old corners that may have been forgotten. Anne was in a type of coma, though it was more like death, Anne's mind and spirit lived on. Her spirit stumbled around in her brain, plucking up lose corners of her mind, until she recovered her long forgotten memories--the good, and the bad...

Cold and heartless Death awaits us all Wandering and wandering Going nowhere at all In these eyes
The words you say They're nothing more Than just letters And lies Within these eyes
Woven into the words These tales of Happiness Tell me nothing more Than what i'm missing.
The words you speak The promises you break You're nothing but weak In these eyes
Cold and heartless Is what i am Say it once And again
More than thrice I've wished More than thrice I've waited. More than thrice You've deceived
Smooth talkers And good walkers It's all this really is A charade, a game A stupid day In my eyes
Love and hate War and Peace So alike Yet so different In their eyes
Together at first Now so far apart Now it's that special day And I feel so far apart
Serayna's mind recited the poem in her head. This was the poem she felt defined her life. Said everything that needed to be said. Everything she had said, and had yet to say. This day that was coming up, needed preparation... and she had already begun.
She had begun to relax, and ignore the outside world. To just let herself get lost in the imagination that she treasured so much.

She slept. Drifted off into another world entirely, comforted by her own, somewhat dark, thoughts. When she reopened her eyes some minutes later, her surroundings were changed. This place was happy, jubulant. Nothing was the same, this place was totally out of the ordinary; it had it's own aura of love and peace, eternal happines... Serayna had transferred herself to Anne's mind; a place where no harm could come to the good and no evil existed. Withing the confines of this mind, everything was in the right, as it should be. It was filled with love, hope, kindess, peace, harmony... Then there she was. Anne, standing in a large field of daisies across from Serayna. She smiled a warm, caring smile. Serayna smiled back. She didn't know what this place was, but everything seemed right when she was here, like everything was going to be ok. Just as Serayna began to stand up, she saw James sneeking around in the grass behind Anne, about to pounce. She watched in amusement as he jumped up and grabbed her in a tight hug. Anne screamed, then giggled. Serayna laughed under her breath and ran over to the two. Where was this place? She didn't know. But, then again, did she even care? She was happy, and so were they.

But as Serayna watched Anne and James wrestle on the ground, she remembered why she disliked this day so much. All the pain, the memories, the hurt of being so alone. As these thoughts rolled through her mind, storm clouds appeared, and it started to rain. The wind blew the trees almost over, and the calm before was gone.
Anne looked over, her happy smile gone, her hair covering her right eye. She sighed and walked over to Serayna, kneeling down in front of her, she was silent for a moment, trying to find the right words to say.
"You okay?" Anne asked. Serayna shrugged.
"I'm fine." She replied, still lost in her own dark, unhappy thoughts.
"Look around Serayna. Apparently you're not." Anne said smiling as Serayna looked up. She laughed as she realized just how magical this place could be. And as she did so, the rain lightened up a bit.
"What's wrong?" Anne asked again, searching in Serayna's eyes for the truth.
"Everyday i have to convince myself i might be better off alone. And then i see you two, and those thoughts just go away. And it feels like i'm missing something. I hide it and put on a good smile everyday, but it hurts to know i'm so close to having what you guys might have, yet... i can't have it." Serayna said watching the grass bend underneath the rain.
"Serayna, there's someone out there in the world for everyone. Some find theirs really early. Others find them towards the end of their lives. You will hopefully be lucky enough to find yours earlier than most. You just have to hold on." Anne whispered. Serayna couldn't help but feel that maybe she had already found them, but tnat it didn't work. She remembered her past boyfriends, and those she loved right now.
"Annie! Thank you." Serayna said as the sky started to clear. Even though her heart still felt pieced and broken, she decided to not let that get in the way.
The best thing you can do... is to listen to what not only others say, but also to what you say.

Annes stared at Serayna, contemplative for a second, then she looked back over her shoulder at James and called, "Hey, James! Could you come here for a sec?" Anne could see that Serayna was still upset; she knew what she would do. "What's going on?" James asked casually with his usual bright smile on his face. Anne shot him a quick glance, he knew. Anne nodded, thrice, James counted along. At the third nod, the two tackled Serayna and gently pinned her down on the grass, holding her down and tickling her until she was truly having fun. Even then, the two didn't stop. After all, they lived to make eachother smile, why not share the fun with the best friend of the soon-to-be wife?
After a few minutes, the three lay side by side, gasping for breathe and laughing with excitement. Anne turned to Serayna on her left, "Hey, Rayna?" Serayna turned to face Anne. James gave Anne an approving wink, again, he knew what she was about to do, " What do you say about making this world the permanent one? You know, a whole new start. A chance to live our dreams, get whatever we want... And in your case, whoever you want." Anne put emphasis on the last part of her sentence. Serayna stared at Anne like she was crazy. "What?" "Well, we could 'create' the perfect man for you, right here and now-- If you wanted. And he would love you until the day you stopped loving him. That is- if we make this world the permanent. But I'd need full help from both of you if we wanted to make that work." Anne watched Serayna, waiting for a response. She could tell Serayna was in deep thought.
A chance to leave everything behind... Start fresh... A new life... A brand new chapter-- no, an entirely new book...

Serayna smiled at first, but then sat up suddenly and frowned. She didn't know what to think of this idea. It seemed like things could go wrong after hours and hours of perfection. Serayna wasn't sure how to react. Disappointed? Happy? Confused?
This was something that ran deeper than If i can't get a guy on my own, i'll make him up...
Sure it sounded like a good idea... a very good idea. But then it's like, Incoming Pride! And you don't want to make a guy up because you can't get one, it's like showing the enemy you're hurting.
Serayna could understand what Anne meant. But would this world completely reconcile the other? Would all the troubles and woes, and mishaps of that world, be change in this one? Would it really be a new world, or just a temporary cover? Would it be like being completely changed as if you never were like that at all? No recollection of what you were before? No chances or risks of going back to that? Or would it be like rehab? The memories of who you were, and the chance of getting back in the rut?
It was too good to be true. There must be something that could go wrong. Perfection lasting forever? Serayna was doubtful in the least. It was almost like she could feel the trouble coming, as if the calm before the storm was just about to pass.
"What say you?" Anne asked, eyeing Serayna. All Serayna could do was shrug. Even if she wanted to start anew, what would she want it to be like? Having the guy care for you, but not wait on your hand and foot. Him being sweet, but not a pushover. A guy that was cute, but not the hottest pizza in the oven. A guy that was dorky, but not a nerd. She wanted all of these, and anyone who would fit Serayna's criteria would get boring eventually.
Maybe... a guy who changes as frequently as i do...

"Hmm. I'll give you night or two to sleep on it. But until then, have fun in heaven!" Anne smiled and locked the portal connecting the 'old' world and the 'new' world. Her smile sparkled in the setting sun and there was an exuberant glint in her deep green eyes. Serayna then looked to James, deeply exploring the expression on his face-- hopeful, She thought, yet, there's something here I've never seen before... Something... New... She smiled, "Okay, why not? Let's stay a while and test this place out." Anne smiled at this and James sighed in relief. Standing up, he reached for Anne's hand and then Serayna's and pulled the two up. Not letting go of Anne's hand, he turned to Serayna, "So, where would you like to stay tonight? A beach... A tropical rainforest... The wide, desert expanses of Egypt??" "Oh, and who with?" Anne added with a smirk.

"How about... Paris?" Serayna asked in a french accent. Anne laughed and rolled her eyes.
"Yea, let's! We can go have phenomanol Swiss Cheese, from France." James cried. Serayna pretended to puke.
"Did i tell you i might be becoming Lactose Intolerant?" Serayna said looking at James. James frowned. Anne looked at Serayna.
"Really?" Anne asked searching Serayna's eyes. Serayna nodded, smiling a bit.
"It sucks pretty bad actually. I tried eating ice cream earlier... and i couldn't." Serayna explained.
"Well then, i guess Gelato is out of the question, eh?" James asked. Serayna smirked and rolled her eyes.
"But... Paris it is!" Anne yelled and suddenly they were in Paris. Serayna and Anne as natural insinct, both adopted a french accent, as they walked through the streets of the famous France city.
Back in the "Old" World...
"So what's this?" The officer asked, looking at the woman.
"This is the woman who holds the world's longest coma in living history." The nurse explained fluffing the pillows.
"How long?" The officer asked couldn't be too long, she was only 15 or so.
"I don't know..." The nurse started but was interrupted by another officer who looked around 15 years old. The same age as the woman.
"She's been unconscious since 1517. 491 years and counting. She, her best friend, and her best friend's unofficial husband vanished into another world. Her best friend, Anne Porter Wallace*, has been dead since December of 1516. And the husband, James Wallace killed himself in January of 1517. But Serena Joel Evi Gales was led into the world by Anne, and her body lay forgotten, over Anne's tomb." The man said opening up a briefcase and taking out a gun. He slapped a silencer on it and pointed it at the officer.
"And now that you know the story, i'm afraid i have to kill you." The man said. The officer looked scared, and the nurse was just going along her own business.
"How could someone be in a coma that long and not look a day over 15?" The officer asked, and the man smiled.
"There's the secret we must keep. She's a werewolf. One single silver bullet will kill her body, but her mind will remain. One day, Anne will have a new body. She will have a child. For them only a few months have passed. Anne will soon want a child, and an official wedding, but seeing as both her and her husband are dead, she will need Serena to find bodies for the two of them. For this, Serena needs her body intact otherwise they will always live a fictional life in a fictional world." The man said. He thingyed the gun, then fired it. The silencer obviously silencing the shot.
"Thanks for the tip Destiny." The man said, packing up his gun and briefcase. The nurse smiled.
"Anything to keep my friends non fictional." Destiny said glancing over her shoulder.
"You mean more fictional than they already are? Seriously, we were born in 1415, me, Anne, Serayna, and James. You in 1798. James and Anne are vampires. Me and Serayna are werewolves. You're half dragon. We were the start of fictional stories. And we must keep the secret of Palace a secret." The man said sternly, Destiny nodded.
"Bye Ronan."

okay... the first part is in the place of our previous conversations... but the last part takes place around 2008. Keep in mind that time passes in the original world faster than in the world of your mind. Just ignore the 2008 stuff for now...

"Death be thy Rose, hidden in your love. Whispered away from the nothingness we've become. Don't follow me into this nightmare. The darkness separating you and me, is enough to kill you. No matter what they say, it's not just a bad luck day, it goes deeper than superficial beliefs. The distance between us, only makes our longing stronger, while the love we share, dies in the night." Serayna sung. She strummed the guitar, hoping not to make a mistake.
"Some say that love is a river, we all must cross one day, whether we drown in the middle, or along those muddy banks. Some day we all realize, that our lives are way too short, and that love doesn't come everyday. So no matter what they say, it's not just a bad luck day, it goes deeper than superficial beliefs. The distance between us, only makes our longing stronger, while the love we share, dies in the night." As she fingered the chords, another instrument rose among her words, a piano. Playing softly, it was sad, sort of like the whole point of the song.
"If you just walk away like that, from a girl like her, you won't realize your mistake, until it's way too late. Death be thy rose, that i adopted from afar, this love started dark, and grew to a daze. But now it's too late, you waited too long, to ask me away, and now we sit here, awaiting the day." Serayna let the song hang, as she strummed the last few notes.
She looked towards the sunset and realized that she didn't know what the hell to say...

OOC: Fine... let me see...
IC: Our trio sat in the back of a French Restaraunt, eating delicious bread, and tasting fine wine. James and Anne sat closer to each other, and farther in the light, while Serayna sat farther away from them, and was shaded by darkness. When Anne looked over, she saw something in Serayna's eyes, and knew there was something wrong.
Anne bit back the urge to go over and try and fix this, instead she just shrugged it off, and turned back to James who was watching Anne. Serayna got up, mumbling something about a breath of fresh air and walked outside.
As she walked out the restaraunt doors, she saw something. She quickly looked to see what it was, but it was gone again. She turned back, and shook her head, clearly she was seeing things.
As she walked out, rain started pouring down. Serayna closed her eyes, breathing in and out, trying to relax. But she couldn't. She swore she had seen it. Something out of the corner of her eye. She tried to shrug it off but couldn't. But there it was again!
She turned again, but it had disappeared before she got a good look at it. She thought about what she had seen. She thought she had seen... no it couldn't be possible, could it? No, he was in the real world, and this is just an imaginative world that we made. Our world. How could he be here?
But then she saw it again. And this time she was sure it was him. Aeilon? She thought as she watched him go. Yea, there was no one else it could be. He turned and it only confirmed it.
"Aeilon?" She cried out. He looked towards her and smiled, but she frowned. "How are you here? This... she wouldn't... she wouldn't have brought you here. I wouldn't have brought you here." Serayna stuttered.
"Well i am." He whispered, loud enough for only her to hear. But then she saw another. Panthris appeared next to him. And she shook her head, panicking and freaking out.
"What's wrong babe?" Panthris asked as she stepped back. She stumbled over a chair, and people looked up from their dinner.
"No, you can't be here. It's impossible. I wouldn't have brought you here. Anne!" She called out, and Anne appeared.
But it wasn't Anne, it was... someone else.
"Harrel..." Serayna whispered. This was impossible, Panthris was supposed to be dead, Aeilon hated Serayna with all his guts, and so did Harrel. But it just got worst. James turned into Michael Jackson, and started chasing Panthris and Aeilon.
Serayna looked around her, finding herself in a nightmare. But she soon realized this nightmare was her reality. And there was no way she could avoid this. Not even she escaped into an imaginary world that was her own.
