Okay, so this is a story i had started a week and a half ago, but i don't know what to do, i need some help.
Renee crept around the corner, looking to see if the coast was clear. In the alley ahead of her, soldiers walked in lines down the street. She stepped back, out of view of the passing soldiers. When they were gone, she poked her head back out and smiled. She waved to David, signaling the coast was clear.
David, Renee, and a few other people crept along the street side, keeping to the shadows. The sky was dark red, and clouds covered the dying sun. The streets were quiet, and empty, except for the small platoons of soldiers patrolling the streets. As the montage walked up the street, they kept looking over their shoulders, cautiously making sure they weren’t being followed.
It was the year 2020, and the world was in shock. Devastation lingered in the cities and betrayal haunted the hearts of those remaining. Some were fine with the new order, but those who weren’t kept quiet. Anyone who openly showed their mistrust or dislike in the system, disappeared weeks later, never to be seen again.
You see, five years ago a large group of people gained control of the world. A treaty was signed that the leaders of this group got everything. And when we say everything we mean everything. They started a holocaust. Much like the one in the 1940’s.
But unlike in the 40’s, this one wasn’t targeted against anyone in particular. It was just people. Mainly people who didn’t deserve to live, but a lot of the victims at the beginning were just random, innocent by standers. The USA decided to fight back, fight against this organization. They were thingyy about it too. All of America thought they weren’t in any trouble, that their government would protect them from something all the way in Europe.
Nope, the Organization got to them too. But instead of just killing 75% of the population, they killed 99% of the population in America. Whoever ran this, didn’t like their reaction.
As Renee stumbled past a dark alley, she halted. She held up her hand, she had heard something. Footsteps echoed in the empty streets ahead. She sprinted into the alley, where her group followed her.
Renee just stood there, her arms twisted behind her back. Trey Runners punched Hunter in the stomach once, twice, three times. Renee clenched her teeth, trying so hard not to cry out, not to yell for him to stop. This was the war, and if she let emotions get to her, she was in danger.
“How do you like it now? Huh? What if I do this?” He asked as he right hooked her in the jaw. She coughed a little, then spat a little blood out. She glared at him, her eyes burning through him.
“Is that all you got? Huh?! You’re weak! You’re only pretending to be tough. How hard is this for you? Huh? You’re so weak; you’re letting your emotions and your past get to you. You’re letting it cloud your thoughts, making you do things. You know it’s true, Trey. On the outside you think you’re all tough, but inside you’re nothing but girl thingy, can’t even punch me hard enough.” Hunter spat. She was playing with his mind, and he was listening to her. Renee could see Trey squirming inside, and she saw the shock in his eyes covered by hatred.
“Shut up!” He cried, socking her in the face.
She just spat out more blood and looked at him, a malicious grin on her face. “That was a punch? Hah! I laugh at your weakness. I would say that you punch like a girl, but I know girls who can punch harder than you can. Come on, hit me, show me up, I dare ya!” She called, egging him on. Renee shook her head, Trey was just getting madder and madder, she could see it bubbling up inside.
“Trey don’t listen to her, she’s getting into your mind, she’s egging you on. Trey come on, let’s just go.” Xander muttered, grabbing Trey’s arm, but Trey shook his head.
“No, she’s not getting in my head. I’ve got this under control.” Trey murmured, repeating over to himself multiple times. Finally Renee saw what Hunter was doing, she was heating him up. She had something up her sleeve.
“Do you really, Trey? Do you really have this under control? Aren’t I getting in your head, causing you to think things, doubting yourself? Just a little bit?” Hunter purred, a seductive tone in her voice. Her eyes were sinister, a plan coming into action.
“No! I am in control! Just SHUT UP!” He screamed at Hunter. Hunter smiled, she was in.
Please and thank you! ;D
