Serayna paced the meadow where she had been reunited with Anne and James. There was something about this place... something calming. Or so it was usually. But now Serayna had something on her mind and storm clouds were gathering over head.
She stopped, her brow furrowed and frowned. She shook her head and kept pacing. Anne stood in the shadows on the edge of the wood watching her. One eye brow raised up as Serayna repeated this last thing multiple times.
James appeared next to Anne and smirked. "What's she grumbling about?" James asked, Anne shook her head, not knowing the answer.
Finally after a few more minutes, Serayna screamed and threw her hands up. She let herself fall down onto the grass and just gave up.
"I give up! I give up!" She cried out, staring up at the purple storm clouds. Anne walked over smoothly, her eyes filled with questions.
"So i have to renew my potions license in a year right? So the Potions Master of today, hasn't updated the stuff since last october, therefore i can't work on stuff to renew my license, and then there's a new language in the Asian Colonies and i have to learn it, if i ever want to get a job in some other random place... other than this cozy mind of course. And the Master of that language, doesn't speak common language, therefore, i have no idea what the hell she's asking of us." Serayna explained as she saw Anne.
"So why do you want to learn yet another language." Anne asked.
"Because, then, when i get mad i can randomly say phrases in so many languages. For example. Tu es baka pollo! I'm pretty sure that means, you are a cow chicken... but i'm not sure... Not cuss words, just stuff that'll make me laugh when i'm mad..." Serayna added swiftly. Anne's eyes had grown dark at the mention of these 'phrases'... if you get my drift.
"Ah, the daily rant is about school... then right?" James asked. Serayna glared at him
"I never thought i'd say this any time soon, but yes. I'm ranting because school is stupid. And the many teachers within it."

Ronan looked at the lifeless body of Serayna. This coma was taking longer than they thought. He realized that not many understood the time separation between a mental world and the physical world. It was like being in a coma. You feel like you just blanked for a second, when hours, weeks, months, even years could have passed.
In whatever world Serayna was in, an hour there was a month here. Ronan looked at is a sort of seclusion from the real world. A mental world was a place to hide, a place to cower in when living inthe real world go tough. Once you go into a mental world, things can go in your favor.
What confused Ronan was Serayna, Anne, and James all had a perfect handle on life. They understood it. They were able to control their lives. They had no need to cower in a mental world. Then why were they in a mental world?
When the going gets tough, the strong runaway? That doesn't sound right. Something's off.

Anne waved a library into existence a little ways off in the meadow. Tapping Serayna lightly on the shoulder to get her attention, she teleported them inside. Here, a vast amount of knowledge and power awaited anyone who might think to wander among the gigantic shelves. Books of the Now- Greek Scientology, Chinese Arithmetic, World Languages- and books of the Future- Shakespeare... Edgar Allen Poe- All of these wondrous treasures would present themselves at any given time to anyone in need, and only when they were needed.
Serayna and James looked around in awe as the small circular room they were in began to transform. The walls folded out into aisle ways and the ceiling spiraled out to follow suit with a stained glass roof. There were no doors in the entire building, no way in and no way out. That was a puzzle all in itself. Of course, it was only fair... No one can enter the Library of Infinite Knowledge to just take whatever they want to know and then leave. Oh, no-- They had to prove themselves too.

Serayna knew that somehow, she was going to be in here longer than either of them had anticipated. The books inside of here held knowledge of a world beyond their own. Many years ahead of the times they had grown up in, and many years before. But there was a terror held within the books. A rumor, a tale so great, and yet so fearsome that neither Serayna nor James dared venture near it.
But they both knew what it looked like. The largest book in the library, it would be. Bound in dark leather, and held together by the strongest horse hide in the Magical Realm. It's pages were ripped and torn, yellowed from age. Many people had roamed these halls looking for a greater meaning than what they knew. A meaning to life. And they found themselves staring at The Book.
It read on the front, Death be a punishment only some must taste. And any curious being would want to know why only some would taste it, why only some should taste it. And they would open it, to the title page. They would find their name, their birthday, and they birth place. The rest of the book was filled with their story. And they would realize there was an end to The Book.
Some flipped to the back, and read about their deaths, others read the whole story, wanting to know how things would end with their friends, their family. Who they would know, and what they would be. But either way anyone who read The Book, would reach the end. They would reach their death. So horrified by how they died, they would try to change it. But it wouldn't work. They died like all the others, in the library.
James and Serayna knew better than to wander near The Book. It had... abilities. It would call to you, whisper your name, beg you to let it's pages breathe. It's voice was so seductive, so promising and protecting, you would open it, and search for how the story ended. Anyone who wished to enter the Library of Infinite Knowledge, and live to make it out, would know better to steer clear of The Book. For it held deathly promises.
James and Serayna's past had made them learn and remember not to touch The Book. Anne knew the same thing... until her memory was erased. And she did not remember about the book. Serayna had forgotten the whole memory ordeal and barely remembered it herself. She roamed between the shelves, searching for a book. Something to read until the time for The Test was at hand.
She suddenly found it, a book labeled The Music Within the Heart Serayna thought it familiar and picked it up. Leafing through the book, she found something far greater than she imagined. She read the book, her eyes franitcally racing across the page, her mouth open, in utter shock.
Her mind panicking she leafed to the back... to find it blank. She found the last page that was written on, but it was dropped in mid sentence. Reading the last words her eyes widened and she nearly dropped the book. She felt her heart stop beating, but it was racing faster than it ever had before.
"Anne... come quickly! I think I've found your memory!"

Anne looked at James as Serayna's sentence echoed over the aisle. Grabbing James's hand, Anne raced to where Serayna was. The thing she had wanted most, for almost a decade now, was to get her memory back and fully restored. When they reached Serayna, her wide grin was all too satisfying. She showed the book to Anne and instantly, she felt a shower of relief pour over her- This was it. She grabbed the book from Serayna and, brushing her hand across the worn covers and bindings, she took a deep breath and flipped to the first page. It was labeled with elegant writing and read: The Music Within the Heart -1- Tears welled up in her eyes as she stared at the old, worn out book before her. She again turned the page, where she found her full name, her birthday, and her early history: Anne Porter Age: 18; February 9, 1412 14th Century Europe
Anne grew up in a small cottage by the river in Magician's palace. When she was 8 years old, Anne and Jacob (11 at the time) had to leave their parents in England because they were considered "cursed" for knowing magic.
Claude(father- deceased), Isadora(mother- deceased), Jacob(brother- deceased) Anne turned the page again as a glimmering tear streamed down her cheek. Here, she found the first 'chapter' of her life. Lain out before her was everything she wished she could remember for so long, but could think of no way to find what she had lost. As she read the first chapter, Serayna and James just watched as she laughed at all of the cute things she did as a baby and a young child. They watched as her emotions changed as she read from page to page, straight through the next six chapters. Three hours later, she was still reading. James fell asleep next to her on the floor with his head rested on her knee, and Serayna went off to learn her other languages; as for Anne, she had all she needed to be content until she was done reading... Until her memory had been completely restored. At chapter twelve, she found herself following the story of her twelve to fourteen year old self. She got angry at herself as she began to remember how stupid she was for trusting Percival and for some of the other things she had done. She was happy when she was able to remember the old poems, songs, spell, and journal entries she had written. OOC: I'm still adding more to this, so please don't reply to it yet.

OOC: ok... i might need you to do something for me... i'm not sure though... not yet...
IC: Serayna watched as Anne read the book on her life. Reading and smiling, laughing as she saw the funny things that had happened. Frowning at the tragedies in her own life. And a thought flashed through Serayna's mind. A terrible thought.
She turned away, looking at the book shelf. And the thought crossed her mind again. But she quickly tried to brush it away. It was too terrible, selfish... weird.
But it just kept coming back I wish that would happen to me. I wish i could just forget everything. Just let it all go, start over. I know it's a terrible thought, but what if we could just start over? What if we could get a second chance at this? Starting right here, right now, what if we just forgot? Would it be that bad? Serayna let the thought process but shrugged it off.
That's a terrible thing to think! Anne would give anything to get her memory back, and you'd give everything to give it away... that's way too selfish. That voice in the back of her head said. It was condescending, but presented an idea.
"Anne, do you think reading that book would give your memory back?" Serayna asked. Anne shook her head.
"It wouldn't feel like i was really there. It's a third person view. I want a first person." Anne sighed. Another thought flashed through her mind, a more productive thought.
"What if... no never mind it couldn't work... well it could, but you wouldn't want to." Serayna started, and she knew Anne was hooked now.
"What? What is it?" Anne asked.
"What if, i gave you my memories? What if you took my memories, and i started out new? How about that? I'd give anything to start over, to forget everything." Serayna said.
"And I'd give anything to have memories." Anne mumbled. She was thinking about it.
"But on one condition..." Serayna said, Anne's head jerked up, her eyes intent.
"Don't try to remind me of who i was... let me start new. Fresh. And that can't be achieved if you try and bring back who i was." Serayna replied. Anne nodded.
A chance to start again. A chance to redo it all A chance to be someone new A chance to do it different
And if we could do it over again, i would change so much. The day we met, i'd make it clear, that you were mine![/i]
